Petra Diamonds Ld27 April 2006 Petra Diamonds Limited 67 Carat Diamond Sold Petra Diamonds Limited ("Petra"), the AIM-quoted and ASX-listed diamond mininggroup, announces that the 67.1 carat diamond recovered from its South Africaoperations in March 2006 was sold yesterday for an amount of US$704,265,equivalent to US$10,496 per carat. Johan Dippenaar, Petra's CEO, commented, "We are delighted to announce theamount received from sale of this exceptional stone.
