Exercise of Options
Asian Plantations Limited (LSE: PALM), a palm oil plantation company with operations in Malaysia, announces that options over 250,000 ordinary shares each of no par value in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") have been exercised by Dennis Melka, Joint Chief Executive Officer (the "Option Exercise").
Following the Option Exercise, Dennis Melka owns 2,351,001 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.03 per cent of the Company's enlarged issued Ordinary Share capital.
Application has been made for 250,000 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to occur on 23 May 2013.
The Company's total ordinary share capital following the admission of the new Ordinary Shares will be 46,761,134 Ordinary Shares.
