("Asian Plantations" or the "Company")

Director's Dealing

Asian Plantations Limited (LSE: PALM), a palm oil plantation company with operations in Malaysia, received the following notifications on 25 October 2013:

· that East Pacific Capital Limited ("East Pacific"), a company wholly owned by Dennis Melka, Joint Chief Executive Officer, acquired 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company of no par value ("Ordinary Shares") on 25 October 2013 at a price of 200 pence per Ordinary Share, representing, in aggregate, 0.05 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. East Pacific is now the holder of approximately 4.55 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. This transaction results in Dennis Melka being the beneficial holder of, in aggregate, 2,376,001 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 5.08 per cent of the share capital;

· that Keresa Plantations ("Keresa"), a company controlled by Tan Sri Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi, Chairman of the Company, acquired 25,000 Ordinary Shares on 24 October 2013 at a price of 201 pence per Ordinary Share, representing, in aggregate, 0.05 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. Keresa is now the holder of approximately 29.24 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company; and

· that Tan Sri Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi, Chairman of the Company, acquired 5,000 Ordinary Shares on 24 October 2013, at a price of 204 p per Ordinary Share, representing, in aggregate, 0.01 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. Tan Sri Datuk Amar Leonard Linggi is now the beneficial holder and controller of 15,710,208 Ordinary Shares (taking into account the Keresa and the abovementioned transaction) representing approximately 33.60 per cent. of the share capital.
