PageGroup plc - Chair's retirement

PageGroup plc, the specialist recruitment consultancy (the "Company") announces that David Lowden has notified the board of his decision to retire from his role as Chair of the Company. David will step down as Chair and as a director before the Company's 2022 AGM. David joined the PageGroup board in August 2012, becoming Chair in December 2015. 

The Nomination Committee has initiated a process, led by the Senior Independent Director Patrick De Smedt, to identify and appoint David's successor.

Steve Ingham, Chief Executive Officer commented: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank David for his service to PageGroup over the last nine years and extend to him our appreciation for his invaluable contribution first as a non-executive director and then as Chair over this period"

As announced separately this morning, David Lowden has been appointed as an independent non-executive director and Chair-designate of Diploma plc, assuming the role of Chair with effect from 19 January 2022.

There are no further disclosures required for the purposes of Listing Rule 9.6.11.
