PageGroup plc - Board changes

PageGroup plc, the specialist recruitment consultancy (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Geary who will join the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 April 2022. On her appointment to the Board, Karen Geary will also be a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees. Karen will assume responsibilities as Chair of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 1 May 2022. 

Karen has more than 20 years of international Human Resources experience across a variety of industries, managing organisations and leadership teams. Between 1998 and 2013, Karen was with The Sage Group plc, where she built and led the HR function as Group HR Director. Subsequent to this Karen held Group HR executive positions with a US based software business, followed by a FTSE 100 software company whom she originally joined as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Since 2019 Karen has pursued a non-executive portfolio career.

Karen is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at ASOS Plc, Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of National Express Group plc and a Non-Executive Director of Sabre Insurance Group plc.

As previously announced, on her appointment as Chair of the Company, effective 1 May 2022, Angela Seymour-Jackson will step down as Chair of the Remuneration Committee and will cease to be a member of this Committee.

There is no other information to be disclosed pursuant to LR9.6.13 in respect of Karen Geary's appointment.
