Oxus Gold PLC17 October 2006 For immediate release: 17 October 2006 Oxus Gold plc Directors' Shareholdings and Additional Listing - Correction The issuer wishes to advise that the announcement released at 17:12 today isincorrect. The quarterly fees should refer to the period July - September 2006and not April - June 2006 as previously stated. A correct version of the release is as below Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or "the Company") announces application has been made for25,956 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company to be admitted to tradingon the AIM Market of London Stock Exchange plc. The shares were allotted tocertain non-executive directors of the Company on 17 October 2006 asconsideration for quarterly fees for the period July to September 2006.
