Athens, ΞΞΏvember 23, 2016 -Β HellenicΒ TelecommunicationsΒ OrganizationΒ S.A. (OTEΒ S.A. or the Company), pursuant to the provisions of Law 3556/2007, announces that:

On 23 November 2016, the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) informed OTE SA that it acquired 24,507,520 common shares and the same number of voting rightsΒ of OTE S.A., on 18 November 2016.

Specifically, these shares and voting rights which correspond to 5% of the Company's share capital and voting rights, have been acquired by HRADF from the Hellenic Republic through an over the counter transaction by virtue of decision no 260/16.11.2016 of the Intra-Ministerial Committee of Restructurings and Privatizations (Government Gazette Bulletin Ξ' 3723/18.11.2016).

Following this transfer, the percentage of share capital and voting rights in OTE S.A. held by HRADF has changed from 0% to 5%.
