Issue of Share Options
Oriole Resources, the AIM-quoted exploration company operating in Africa and Europe, announces that the Company's remuneration committee, comprising independent Non-Executive Directors John McGloin and David Pelham, has granted options to the Company's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Livesey, its Chief Financial Officer, Bob Smeeton and to members of the management team.
Further Details
Options over 16,350,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company ('the Options') have been granted to the Company's Executive Directors and management team. The Company's independent remuneration committee has made this award in order to compensate the team for its dedication and reduced pay during the initial COVID-19 lock down earlier this year. The Options have an exercise price of 0.37 pence, equal to the 14-day Volume Weighted Average Share Price as at close on 21 December 2020. The Options are not subject to performance conditions, will vest over a three-year period and will expire after 10 years. In aggregate this award of Options is equivalent to 1.1% of the current issued share capital of the Company.
Following the awards, the Company has 86,752,912 options and 323,230,292 warrants in issue, representing 5.9% and 22.1% of the issued Ordinary Share Capital respectively.
Following the award of these options, the interests in the Ordinary Share Capital of the Company of the Executive Directors and other Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility are as follows:
