Aricom PLC30 January 2008 Press Release 30 January 2008 Aricom plc ("Aricom" or "the Company") Total Voting Rights Aricom plc (LSE: ORE, OREW), the Anglo-Russian developer of mineral resources,today announces that application has been made for the admission of 252,900ordinary shares to listing on the Official List and to trading on the mainmarket of the London Stock Exchange. Dealings in these ordinary shares areexpected to commence on 5 February 2008. The ordinary shares have been issued to PBO Handels GmbH ("PBOH") followingtheir revised decision to accept the offer made by Aricom to acquire theminority shareholding in Lapwing Limited ("Lapwing") (the "Offer"). Asannounced previously, Aricom had reached a conditional agreement with OlisConstructions Limited ("Olis") in relation to the acquisition of their 29.26%interest in Lapwing and had also made the Offer to the remaining minorityshareholders of Lapwing. The acquisition of the 29.26% interest from Olisremains subject to shareholder approval. Under the terms of the Offer, in consideration for its 0.01% interest inLapwing, PBOH was entitled to receive 252,900 new ordinary shares in the Company(which represented 0.02% of the share capital of the Company in issue at thetime of the Offer). The number of ordinary shares was calculated in accordancewith the offer on the basis of 8.43 Aricom shares for every 1 Lapwing share. In conformity with the Transparency Directive, Aricom plc is required to notifythe market of the following: Following this issue the total issued share capital of the Company will comprise1,119,322,860 ordinary shares with a nominal value of £0.001 each, each shareconveying the right to one vote. Aricom Plc does not hold any ordinary shares inTreasury. Therefore, after admission the total number of voting rights in Aricom Plc willbe 1,119,322,860.
