Aricom PLC19 July 2006 19 July 2006 Employee Share Option Scheme Aricom plc (the "Company"), the AIM traded company developing iron ore andilmenite interests in Russia's Far East, announces that it has today grantedshare options to the following Directors: Director Number of option shares Exercise dates Jay Hambro 2,500,000 19-Jul-09 - 19-Jul-12Peter Howes * 400,000 19-Jul-09 - 19-Jul-12Yuri Makarov 800,000 19-Jul-09 - 19-Jul-12Martin Smith 400,000 19-Jul-09 - 19-Jul-12 * Peter Howes already holds options over 400,000 shares with an exercise priceof 15p per share which were granted at the time of the IPO. The exercise price of the new options has been determined according to the termsof the Aricom scheme. The exercise price of the options is 42p per share whichrepresents the average middle market close on the two days preceding the grant. The Company has also decided that the options currently held by Tom Swithenbankwho, as announced on 6 July 2006, has left the Company, should not lapse on thecessation of his employment with the Company but that they should lapse on 28February 2007, unless previously exercised.
