Statement Re Media Reports on Sale of 414 MW Plant in Chennai
The Company notes recent unconfirmed and unsubstantiated reports in the media concerning a possible sale of OPG's 414 MW plant in Chennai for c. £102 million - £122 million (Rs10 billion - Rs12 billion). There is no basis for these reports and the Board confirms that the Company has no intention to sell the plant.
