Commissioning Update
Installation of new Air Pre-Heater at the 77 MW Plant
OPG Power Ventures Plc, the developer and operator of group captive power plants in India, is pleased to announce that, further to the announcement dated the 9th February 2010, a new Air Pre-Heater unit (in place of the one that failed during commissioning trials) has been delivered to its 77MW Chennai plant by the vendor, Ansaldo Caldaie India Pvt Ltd.
The installation, integration and fitting of this replacement unit has commenced at the site and, on completion of this activity, which is anticipated to take a few weeks, the Company expects to recommence final commissioning trials in April.
A further announcement regarding the final commissioning will be issued as soon as the same is accomplished.
