TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS AND SHARES IN ISSUE

The Company's issued ordinary share capital at 3 October 2016 comprised 4,929,731,403 ordinary shares of 11 3/7p each and, in accordance with Rule 5.6.1R of the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, the total number of voting rights for the purposes of calculating disclosable interests in the Company's ordinary share capital was also 4,929,731,403.
