APPOINTMENT OF ROGER DAVEY AS NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Uruguay Mineral Exploration Inc. ("UME") announces that it has appointed Mr.Roger Davey as a Non Executive Director as of August 14, 2007. Mr Davey is aChartered Mining Engineer with over thirty five years of experience in themining industry. Roger is a graduate of the Camborne School of Mines, with aMaster of Science degree in Mineral Production Management from Imperial College.He is a Non-Executive Director of Serabi Mining plc, GoldQuest Mining Corp, andAlexander Mining. Roger is presently an Assistant Director and the Senior Mining Engineer at N MRothschild. Prior to this his experience covered the financing, development andoperation of both underground and surface mining operations in gold and basemetals at senior management and Director level in South America, Africa and theUnited Kingdom.
