OTMT "continues" its Management Contract of Alfa in Lebanon

Cairo, 2 October 2014: Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding ("OTMT") announced that it has received a notification letter of Continuance of the management agreement of the Lebanese mobile telecommunications operator "Alfa" with the Republic of Lebanon starting October 1st and until further notice as it will be decided by the Government of Lebanon.

Being awarded this further extension, OTMT remains committed to playing a positive role in the development of the mobile sector in Lebanon. OTMT and in cooperation with the Ministry of Telecommunications will pursue Alfa's growth policy it has followed since 2009, which is a strategic sector for the economic progress in Lebanon.
