Origin Enterprises plc, the Agri-Services Group ('Origin' or 'the Group') announces that Brendan Fitzgerald, Chief Financial Officer, has indicated that he will be leaving the Group effective 31 July 2014 to pursue other interests. Origin has initiated a search for Mr Fitzgerald's replacement and an appointment will be made in due course.

Commenting on the announcement, Origin Chairman Owen Killian said:

"Brendan has played a pivotal role in the development of Origin since our listing in 2007. He has provided invaluable financial leadership in supporting the Group's strategic transformation to a clearly focused business prioritising sustainable agricultural services. On behalf of the Board I would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Brendan and to wish him well in his future endeavours."
