Northern Venture Trust PLC24 February 2005 For immediate release on 24 February 2005 NORTHERN VENTURE TRUST PLC EGM RESULT Northern Venture Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that at an ExtraordinaryGeneral Meeting held earlier today all resolutions were passed. As a result theCompany's life has been extended at least until the annual general meeting to beheld in 2010, the Company's directors have been authorised to implement a tenderoffer to acquire up to 10% of the Company's issued share capital and to issue upto a further 8 million new ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company by way offuture share offerings to shareholders and the public.
