Northern Venture Trust PLC20 September 2005 NORTHERN VENTURE TRUST PLC Appointment of Non-Executive Director Northern Venture Trust PLC is pleased to announce that at a board meeting heldon 20 September 2005, Mr Clive Williams was appointed to the board as anon-executive director with immediate effect. Mr Williams is aged 61 and was a managing partner in Ernst & Young in the UK andthen chief executive of Capgemini UK plc until his retirement in February 2005.He is currently non-executive chairman of THB Group PLC. There are no further disclosures to be made under paragraph 9.6.13 (1) - (6) ofthe Listing Rules in relation to his appointment.
