Further Appointments to Advisory Panel

Enegi is pleased to announce that Mike Bowan and Anastase Maragos have joined Barath Rajgopaul on the Company's Advisory Panel, established in September 2011 to provide the Company with access to a number of highly respected industry professionals across a broad range of disciplines and to advise the Company as it implements its plans both in terms of buoy technology and its hydrocarbon assets (formerly called the Advisory Board).

Mike has over 30 years experience in the field of development and production geology and is currently the Professor of Development and Production Geology at the University of Manchester. Prior to this he spent the major part of his career at BP where his final position was Vice-President of geoscience and subsurface. Mike holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Sheffield.

Anastase is a partner in Canadian law firm, Watson Goepel Maledy LLP, and holds a B. Com. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Windsor and an LLB from the University of British Columbia. He has over 20 years experience with public companies and has advised on numerous oil and gas transactions, during which time he has worked closely with David Parry, a Director of Enegi, and has advised Enegi on aspects of Canadian law and, in particular, the securing of the Flow Through Funding announced by the Company on 27th June 2011.

The Advisory Panel provides valuable input to the complex decisions that management and the Board of Enegi are required to make often at short notice and have been selected in anticipation of advice that will be required. The Company expects to add further members in the relatively near future.

The Company

Enegi Oil Plc is an independent oil and gas company. Current operations are focused on opportunities around the Port au Port Peninsula in Newfoundland, Canada and the Clare Basin in County Clare, Ireland. The Port au Port Peninsula is located in western Newfoundland, which, although lightly explored, is in an active petroleum system with light oil having been discovered on a number of occasions. The Clare Basin is located in western Ireland and initial technical studies show that it has the potential to contain shale gas.
