Netplay TV PLC10 March 2008 NetPlay TV plc Strengthens Mobile Quiz Numbers NetPlay TV plc (AIM: NPT), the interactive TV gaming company, is pleased toannounce the acquisition of 7,600 mobile quiz game subscribers from RubberduckConsulting Limited ("Rubberduck"), a provider of mobile content and servicessuch as ringtones, logos, music and video downloads and trivia quizzes. The acquisition will bring the Company's total weekly mobile quiz subscribers toapproximately 70,000 subscribers. The consideration for the 7,600 subscribers is £70,000, to be satisfied in fullby Netplay ordinary shares priced at the average closing mid market price forthe previous ten days of 16.35 pence. It is expected that the 428,135consideration shares will be admitted to trading on AIM on 14th March 2008. Gavin Whyte, Chief Operating Officer of NetPlay, is also a director ofRubberduck and is deemed a related party for the purpose of the AIM Rules. Hehas, accordingly, not taken part in the consideration of the acquisition by theCompany. Having consulted with Landsbanki Securities (UK) Limited, the Company'sNominated Adviser, the Directors of NetPlay consider that the terms of thetransaction are fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders areconcerned.
