Innovative battery materials recycler, Neometals Ltd (ASX: NMT & AIM: NMT), advises that a total of 318,946 performance rights (Performance Rights) have been granted to certain employees and contractors under the Company's Performance Rights Plan (PRP), as approved by shareholders on 25 November 2022.
Each Performance Right entitles the holder to a fully paid ordinary share in the Company at no cost. The number of Performance Rights that may vest on 30 June 2026 (or 31 December 2026) will be determined by reference to the extent to which the performance conditions as measured in respect of the period ending on the relevant vesting date have been met. Any vested Performance Rights are exercisable within 12 months from the vesting date.
Neometals also advises that 1,557,561 Performance Rights have been cancelled owing to conditions not having been met or becoming incapable of being satisfied. Included within this cancelation are 165,675 Performance Rights previously awarded to Chris Reed, Chief Executive Officer, and 133,211 Performance Rights previously awarded to Jason Carone, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary.
The updated interests of the above individuals (following cancellation of 1,557,561 Performance Rights pursuant to the PRP) in the share capital of the Company are as follows:

As a result of the issue and cancellation of the Performance Rights pursuant to the Company's PRP, the Company has the following securities on issue:
· 622,690,316 fully paid ordinary shares.
· 7,733,927 performance rights issued pursuant to the terms of the PRP, comprising:
· 200,000 vested performance rights, which remain subject to exercise; and
· 7,533,927 unvested performance rights, which are subject to performance testing in accordance with their terms of issue.
The above figure of 622,690,316 ordinary shares on issue may be used by shareholders as the denominator for calculations when determining if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
