Appointment of Chief Executive Officer
Nektan, the international B2B mobile gaming platform provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Gosen as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. As set out in the Company's admission document, David will take responsibility as the new CEO for the Group's day-to-day operations and implementing the short and long term strategy for the business. He will also focus in particular on European opportunities and product development. Gary Shaw, Nektan's Executive Chairman, will have responsibility for new market expansion and strategic partnerships.
David joins from Nielsen, the global information and measurement company, where he was European Managing Director, Media, Digital and Mobile. He brings with him a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years of leading and growing businesses across the mobile, online, media, gaming and entertainment sectors.
David has a deep-rooted gaming background from his time as VP at Xbox Europe and Managing Director at Nintendo Europe as well as being CEO and President of I-Play, a top 5 global mobile entertainment business. In addition, he has held senior roles at Sky, Mercury One2One, PepsiCo Restaurants and Coca-Cola.
David joins the business at a pivotal time now Nektan has become a publically listed company and continues to establish itself as the leader in the real money gambling mobile marketplace.

David Neil Gosen (aged 51) holds no shares in the Company and there are no further matters in connection with the Company's appointment of David Gosen to be disclosed under Rule 17 or Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
