"Nature Oil & Gas signs contract to support waste management for Statoil AS drilling operations in Tanzania"

Nature Group PLC (AIM: NGR), the leading maritime and offshore waste specialist is pleased to announce a major contract win by its Norwegian subsidiary, Nature Oil and Gas AS ("Nature Oil & Gas") for the deployment of a Compact Treatment Unit ("CTU") to Tanzania. Whilst contracted through its Tanzanian local logistics provider, Supply Base Solutions Ltd, the contract has been initiated and authorized by Statoil. The contract is for a period of 12 months with a contract value of a minimum of US$1 million and will commence in February 2013.

Nature's CTU will initially treat a substantial volume of offshore waste that is currently being stored onshore from previous drilling campaigns. Once this has been completed the CTU will be available to be sent offshore to support Statoil's drilling operations. This will be the first operation on the African continent for Nature's CTU.
