Newcourt Group plc07 April 2006 NEWCOURT GROUP PLC Newcourt Announces the Placing of 6.9 million New Ordinary Shares 7 April 2006 Newcourt Group plc ("Newcourt" or the "Company") is pleased to announce theconditional placing of 6,900,000 new Ordinary Shares of nominal value €0.25("New Ordinary Shares") in the capital of the Company at €1.32 per share,equating to approximately 10% of the existing issued share capital of theCompany and raising in aggregate €9.1 million before expenses (the "Placing").The New Ordinary Shares will, when issued and fully paid, rank pari-passu in allrespects with the existing issued ordinary shares. The Placing is onlyconditional on the New Ordinary Shares being admitted to trading on AIM and IEX. The Placing was arranged by Davy Corporate Finance. Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange and to the Irish StockExchange for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on the AIM Marketof the London Stock Exchange ("AIM") and on the Irish Enterprise Exchange of theIrish Stock Exchange ("IEX"). Dealing is expected to commence in these shares on12 April 2006.
