Dublin, 6 January, 2009: Newcourt Group plc ('Newcourt' or the 'Company'), a leading, Irish based, support services group, announces that Mr Hugh O'Neill, CEO and a director of Newcourt, today informed the Company that he acquired 600,000 ordinary shares in Newcourt at a value of €0.03 per share. Mr O'Neill acquired 300,000 shares on 31 December, 2008 and 300,000 shares on 2 January, 2009.
Following these acquisitions, Mr O'Neill holds an interest of 3,753,167 ordinary shares in Newcourt representing 4.05% of the issued share capital of the Company.
