Adam Palser appointed as Chief Executive Officer

(Manchester, 29th November 2017): NCC Group plc, the global cyber security and risk mitigation group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Palser as Chief Executive Officer. He will join the Group on 1st December 2017.

Adam was previously the CEO of NSL Ltd, the public services provider, which had over 3,000 employees. He joined NSL in 2015 and led the successful transformation and sale of the business for its Private Equity owner, leaving in March 2017. Before that he held a number of senior roles at QinetiQ between 2003 and 2013, most recently as EMEA Business Development Director. Prior to that, Adam had responsibility for QinetiQ's cyber, information warfare and professional services businesses.

Adam has a First Class degree and a Doctorate in Chemistry from Balliol College, Oxford.

The Company confirms that, aside from that listed above, there is no additional information which is required to be disclosed under Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.

With effect from Adam's appointment, Chris Stone (currently Executive Chairman) will become Non-Executive Chairman and Brian Tenner (currently Interim Chief Executive Officer) will resume his role as Chief Financial Officer. The Board would like to thank Chris for stepping up to an executive remit and Brian for his strong interim CEO leadership.

Remuneration

Adam Palser will be paid an annual salary of £425,000, together with an annual bonus of up to 100% of salary subject to achieving certain performance criteria, of which 35% of any payment will be deferred in shares for 2 years. He will also be eligible for an LTIP award of up to 100% of salary subject to achieving certain performance criteria. His notice period will be six months during the first year of his employment, increasing to 12 months' notice to be provided by either party thereafter.
