Further to the Company's announcement onΒ 2Β MayΒ 2008, Max Petroleum hasΒ agreed to extend the completion deadline of its restructuring agreement with Horizon Services N.V. and Oriental LimitedΒ untilΒ 31 AugustΒ 2008 to allow additional time to obtain the regulatory consents required from theΒ RepublicΒ ofΒ KazakhstanΒ to complete the transaction.Β
