2 ergo Group plc14 October 2005 Embargoed until 07.00 14 October 2005 2ergo Group plc ("2ergo" or "the Group") Information Alert SMS Services Launched in US Market 2ergo, the AIM listed provider of convergent mobile communication solutions, ispleased to announce the roll out of a series of automated SMS alert services inthe US, for weather, news, sport and entertainment. Initially, the service was launched in the wake of the recent hurricanes,offering residents of the south-eastern states of the US access to weatheralerts. Since then the service has grown to include sports results, newsheadlines and entertainment updates. The US is strategically important for 2ergo as it makes available an audience ofover 250 million mobile users, most of which are mobile competent. The Groupexpects to see a significant increase in US revenues in 2006 with theintroduction of these services, which are a totally new offering from itsestablished Zobmob family of mobile content products, which the Group launchedin 2004. The Group believes the US mobile market is still in its infancy for mobilebusiness solutions and expects to be part of the media "land grab" which iscurrently taking place for this type of service. The service is being promotedthrough TV stations, print media and by major media networks such as MediaGeneral Inc in Florida, and across the southern part of the US, including,Texas, Arizona and California.
