Completion of scrip dividend
Notification of Major Interest in Shares
Further to the announcement made by the Company on 21 March 2017, MTI Wireless Edge Ltd. (MWE), announces that pursuant to the Company's scrip dividend alternative, 1,022,328 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") have today been issued and the admission of these shares to trading on AIM ("Admission") became effective at 8.00 a.m. this morning.
MTI Computers & Software Services (1982) Ltd ("MTIC") has elected to receive 977,537 Ordinary Shares through its participation in the scrip dividend alternative. MTIC now holds a total of 28,009,434 Ordinary Shares, which represents 53.0% of the voting rights in the enlarged issued ordinary share capital of the Company. MTIC is controlled by Mokirey Aya, a company controlled by the Borovitz family.
Additionally, three persons discharging managerial responsibilities ("PDMRs"), elected to participate in the scrip dividend alternative in respect of their direct holdings in the Company.
Following Admission, the Company now has 52,861,818 Ordinary Shares in issue and admitted to trading on AIM. This figure, 52,861,818 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company.
The FCA notifications, made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, are appended further below and give further details on the participation in the scrip dividend alternative for directors and PDMRs and persons closely associated with them.
