Director Declaration

Mountview Estates P.L.C. is pleased to announce the appointment of Alistair James Sinclair, FCA, as a non-executive director with effect from 1 November 2010.

Alistair is the son of the late Frank Sinclair, co-founder of Mountview Estates P.L.C. He gained a B.A. Honours degree at King's College, University of London. He qualified as an Associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1975 and became a Fellow in 1981. In 1975 he emigrated to Canada and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1976.

From 1988 until retiring in 2009, his primary responsibility was that of Head of Correspondent Banking for National Bank of Canada in which position he maintained relationships with financial institutions throughout the world. He remains an Advisor on International Banking. He is a Board Member and the Treasurer of Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce and a former Board Member of Quebec-Japan Business Forum and Hungarian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Alistair's 34 years of experience with two major Canadian banks will provide an invaluable contribution to the Company.

The Company confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules in respect of the appointment of Alistair James Sinclair as a non-executive director.
