Motive in Discussions with Premier League Football Clubs
Motive Television Group is in discussions with six English Premier League Football Clubs regarding the use of its Video2Go (V2G) product as a way for the football clubs to provide an enhanced experience to fans before, during, and following attendance at a match.
V2G provides the ability to push content on to smartphones, iPads and other tablets passively and without the need for an Internet connection. This is an opportunity for clubs to provide a wide range of interesting and useful content to their fans.
Paul Buckley, CEO of Digital Media Europe, who is distributing V2G for vertical markets in Europe for the Motive Group commented, "English Premiership League Clubs are aggressively enhancing communication options for fans during their visits to stadiums. Several of the major teams have now expressed interest in V2G's ability to deliver content at live matches and to help monetise take-away content ranging from game highlights & statistics, player interviews and even digital match programmes. We've been greatly encouraged by the response to this unique innovation by the Clubs".
Leonard M. Fertig, CEO of Motive, added, "This is a good example of the flexibility of Motive's technology and how it can improve customer experiences and create new marketing opportunities at low cost yet providing high value. We have only begun to explore the opportunities in vertical markets such as large events, retail venues and travel".
