Annual General Meeting on 27 July 2022 - Live Webcast
As announced on 16 June 2022, the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM") will take place on 27 July 2022 at 12.00 noon at the offices of Montanaro Asset Management Limited. Subsequent to this announcement the Company has received notification that rail strikes are scheduled to take place on Wednesday 27 July 2022, affecting nationwide travel. Given that this may impact some shareholders' ability to attend the Company's AGM the Company has put in place additional arrangements as outlined below.
Live Webcast
Should you wish to attend the AGM virtually you can do so using your smartphone, tablet or computer. You will be able to listen to a live webcast of the 2022 AGM however, you will not be able to vote via the live webcast. Therefore, it is recommended that you submit your vote appointing the Chairman of the meeting as your proxy in advance of the voting deadline (12.00 noon on 25 July 2022).
If you wish to appoint a proxy and for them to attend (but not vote) at the AGM on your behalf, please contact Link Group on telephone number +44 (0) 371 664 1020*.
To join the 2022 AGM virtually, you will need to visit https://montanaro.co.uk/trust/montanaro-uk-smaller-companies-investment-trust/ from your device. Access to the AGM will be available from 11.30 a.m. on 27 July 2022 although the AGM will be declared open at 12.00 noon.
To log into the 2022 AGM, you will be prompted to enter your unique Login Code (which is your full 11 digit Investor Code ("IVC") including any zeros) and your PIN number (which is the last 4 digits of your IVC). This will authenticate you as a Shareholder. If you are not in receipt of your IVC this can be found on a share certificate or dividend tax voucher, or alternatively you can sign in to www.signalshares.com to obtain your IVC. If, however, you cannot find your IVC and do not have access to www.signalshares.com then please contact Link Group on +44 (0) 371 664 1020* before 26 July 2022 to obtain your IVC in order to log in to the AGM.
If your shares are held within a nominee account and you wish to access the AGM via the live webcast, you will need to contact your nominee immediately. Your nominee will need to have completed a letter of representation and presented this to Link Group, our Registrars, no later than 72 hours before the start of the AGM in order to obtain your unique Login Code and PIN number. If you are in any doubt about your shareholding, please contact our Registrars.

Please be advised that a brief presentation and webinar covering the market outlook prepared by Montanaro Asset Management Limited is available to view on the website at https://montanaro.co.uk/trust/montanaro-uk-smaller-companies-investment-trust/ There will be no formal presentation at the AGM.
Voting by proxy
You are encouraged to submit your vote appointing the Chairman of the meeting as your proxy in advance of the voting deadline which is 12 noon on 25 July 2022.
