Operational Update - Sokolovskoe - well 13
Further to the announcement of 30 September, Matra Petroleum announces that due to continuing operational requirements of the third party, the interim generator has not yet been made available.
In the meantime, the rig has been made ready for spud and the local electricity supply has now been hooked up to the well site. The only outstanding issues are a final inspection of the rig and electricity supply by local regulatory authorities. While these final approvals are anticipated later this week the timing is outside the company's direct control.
A further announcement will be made when the well has spud.
