Director Appointment

Matra is pleased to announce the appointment of James William (Bill) Guest as a non-executive director.

Bill (aged 56) has had an extensive career in the oil and gas industry. After graduating from Leicester University with a degree in Geology he worked for Shell International in various overseas assignments. He was Technical Director of Monument Oil & Gas until its takeover in 1999, following which Bill was a Director of Endeavour International Corporation's UK and Norway businesses. In 2004, Bill joined Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd. as a non-executive Director and in 2005 became President until 2007.

Bill is currently a non-executive Director of Hurricane Exploration plc, an advisor to the board of Edgo Group and a Partner in Guest & Associates, an independent energy advisory company.

In accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules, Bill Guest has held the following directorships and partnerships in the past 5 years:

Endeavour UK Ltd., Endeavour Norge SA., Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd., Trinity, Edgo Energy Ltd., Hurricane Exploration Ltd.(current) and Guest & Associates (current).

Save for the above, there are no other details to be disclosed under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
