Marshalls plc ("the Company") announces that it received notificationΒ onΒ 3Β DecemberΒ 2008Β that the TrusteeΒ of the Company's HM Revenue & Customs approved share purchase plan ("the Plan"), Yorkshire Building Society, purchased ordinary shares of 25 pence each on behalf of the followingΒ Directors andΒ PersonsΒ DischargingΒ ManagerialΒ Responsibility onΒ 3Β DecemberΒ 2008, to be held in accordance with the rulesΒ of the Plan. The shares were purchased at a price ofΒ 72Β pence per share.
