BOARD APPOINTMENT AT MARSHALLS PLC
Further to the announcement on 18 June 2013 of the appointment of Martyn Coffey as Chief Executive designate of Marshalls plc (the "Company"), the Company is pleased to confirm that Martyn Coffey joined the Company today and has been appointed as a Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Martyn joins the Company from BDR Thermea Group BV, a leading manufacturer and distributor of domestic and industrial heating and hot water systems operating in 70 countries and with a turnover of €1.8 billion.
After a month of intensive induction, Martyn will be appointed Chief Executive and take over operational responsibility from Graham Holden on 10 October 2013 when Graham will retire as Chief Executive and as a Director of Marshalls plc. Graham will continue to be employed until April 2014 to be available to provide a first class handover and any support required.
