EBT Share Purchase
The Company has been notified by the Trustee of the Marshalls plc Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT") that, pursuant to an irrevocable instruction given to the Company's broker, Peel Hunt LLP on 2 July 2026, the EBT has purchased 547,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 151 pence per share (the "EBT Share Purchase").
The EBT is a discretionary trust for the benefit of employees of the Company and its subsidiaries, including the Executive Directors of the Company. Shares held in the EBT are used to satisfy awards made pursuant to Marshalls' employee share schemes. The EBT Share Purchase has been funded by a loan provided to the EBT by the Company from its existing cash resources.
Following this transaction, the EBT is interested in a total of 676,129 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.27 per cent of the Company's total voting rights.
