Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilityand persons closely associated with them
Motorpoint, the UK's largest independent vehicle retailer, announces that on 19 February 2020 3,203 ordinary shares of £0.01 in the Company ("Shares") were sold on behalf of James Gilmour (CFO) at £3.007 each, following the exercise of options pursuant to Motorpoint's 2017 sharesave scheme which matured on 3 February 2020.
Following the sale of Shares Mr Gilmour continues to comply with the Company's shareholding policy requirements and holds 175,317 ordinary shares in the Company.
The notification at the end of the announcement, made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, provides further details.

The Group's principal business is the sale of nearly-new vehicles, the majority of which are up to two years old and which have covered less than 15,000 miles. Motorpoint sells vehicles from brands representing over 95 per cent. of new vehicle sales in the United Kingdom, with models from Ford, Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Nissan, Hyundai, Audi and BMW being amongst the top sellers.
