Malvern International plc (AIM: MLVN), the provider of educational services in the UK, Europe and Asia, is pleased to announce the appointments with immediate effect of Sam Malafeh as an Executive Director and of Navin Khattar and Wee Hock Kee as Non -Executive Directors.

Gopinath Pillai, Chairman, commented: " We welcome Sam Malafeh, Navin Khattar and Wee Hock Kee on the Board and look forward to their active participation in the proceedings of the Board".

The following details in relation to the appointment of Dr Sam Malafeh (formerly Sam Sharifi Asadi Malafeh), aged 39, are disclosed in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules:

Dr Malafeh holds 4,000,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company representing 4.75 per cent. of the Company's current issued share capital. In addition, he has agreed to subscribe for 2,000,000 Ordinary Shares on or before 15 January 2017 and a further 3,000,000 Ordinary Shares on or before 15 March 2017 in each case at 5p per share.

There are no other disclosures in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.

The following details in relation to the appointment of Mr Navin Khattar, aged 43, are disclosed in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules:

In relation to Schedule 2(g) (v) of the AIM Rules, Mr Khattar was a director of three companies which are non-operative and are in process of being liquidated. These companies are; Learning Developments Overseas Limited, Malvern House Marketing Limited and Malvern House Training Limited. In each case there are no outstanding creditors.

There are no other disclosures in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.

The following details in relation to the appointment of Mr Wee Hock Kee, aged 55 are disclosed in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules:
