Mucklow(A.& J.)Group PLC14 February 2007 A & J Mucklow Group plc 14 February 2007 PROPOSED REIT CONVERSION The Directors of A & J Mucklow Group plc have considered the implications ofconversion to a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and have decided, subject toshareholder approval, to work towards conversion on 1 July 2007. The Group is proposing to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in May2007, for shareholders to consider amendments to the Company's articles ofassociation, to facilitate the conversion to a REIT. Further details of the effects of conversion will be provided to shareholders ina circular, to be sent out in April 2007, prior to the EGM.
