Yoomedia PLC27 March 2007 YooMedia plc / Ticker: YOO / Index: AIM / Sector: Media 27th March 2007 YooMedia plc ("YooMedia" or "the Company") Launches New Unique Mobile Voucher Technology with L'Oreal YooMedia plc, the AIM-traded interactive media and games group, is pleased toannounce that it has launched a new proprietary mobile-based sales promotiontechnology with L'Oreal, which is trialling it as part of a nationwide haircolouring products marketing campaign. The newly developed technology, designed and developed by YooMedia, is centredaround mobile messaging and secure, stand alone interactive promotional consolesknown as 'Kerching kiosks', which together drive customers to the promoter'sevent or retail site. This exciting new initiative allows promoters to sendconsumers barcodes or pin numbers via SMS, which can then be exchanged forspecial offers at branded Kerching Kiosks. L'Oreal's pilot campaign involves distributing roadshow posters in Bluewatershopping centre to encourage consumers to respond by text to a promotionalnumber. The consumer will in turn receive a barcode from L'Oreal to theirmobile phone. By typing or scanning this into the Kerching units, the consumercan redeem L'Oreal prizes or discount vouchers.
