Mirada Plc ("Mirada" or the "Company") New Customer Agreements
Mirada, the AIM quoted interactive media and games group, announces that it has entered into agreement with Cableuropa S.A.U., a leading cable TV operator in Spain, to supply its starTV product. This agreement is the largest commercial contract to-date for starTV which is a strategic product within Mirada's media business division. starTV comprises the core software of the Mirada media set of products. It allows the user to search for, navigate through and purchase live, recorded and on-demand TV content.
For competitive reasons, the Company is unable to disclose the terms of the agreement, however the directors believe that this partnership agreement positions Mirada products in a leading role in the media industry, and will enable the Company to achieve its targeted income for starTV of ‚£1.4 million for the present year.
Mirada has agreed to deliver key interactive services to all users of Cableuropa's digital TV platform via its starTV product. It will enhance their programming and services with advanced interactivity creating an improved experience for their digital consumers.
Mirada also announces that it has secured its first business in the Italian market with the launch of a mobile loyalty campaign in conjunction with McCann Erickson for Mastercard. The month long promotion gives Mastercard customers the opportunity to win a range of products including tickets to all Italy's matches in Euro 2008.
