Fast Track new Article 24 Approval

Minoan Group Plc is pleased to announce that the Greek Government Gazette has today confirmed that the Group's project in Crete (the "Project") will be assessed under the new Article 24 of the amended Fast Track Laws. This will enable Minoan to submit its Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA").

The new Article 24 provides the Project with additional planning benefits to those already included in the Fast Track Laws.

Christopher Egleton, Minoan Chairman, commented:

"With the key approval of the Project's assessment under the new Article 24 now published in the Gazette, the Company will make a short review of the detailed decision before lodging its submission.

As I have stated previously, the approval of an SEA is the equivalent of the granting of outline planning consent and, as such, constitutes the key value crystallisation event. I am very pleased that we are moving ahead with making our submission."
