Directorate Change
The Directors of Maven Income and Growth VCT 5 PLC announce the resignation of Mr Jamie Matheson from the Board with immediate effect.
As announced on 18 March 2013, the Directors have implemented a succession plan with the intention that one or more of the Directors would step down between the Annual General Meetings (AGMs) to be held in 2013 and 2014 in order to allow new Board members to be appointed. As the first stage of this strategy, Mr Matheson stood down from the Board at the AGM held earlier today and did not seek re-election. The Directors wish to record their thanks to Mr Matheson for the valued contribution that he made to the deliberations of the Board during his time in office.
The Board is considering a number of candidates as potential replacements and the appointment of new Directors and the future constitution of the Board will be confirmed and communicated fully to Shareholders in due course, with each new Director being subject to re-election by Shareholders at the subsequent AGM.
