Aberdeen Growth VCT1 PLC14 December 2007 Aberdeen Growth VCT I PLC ("the Company") Interim Management Statement - quarter ended 31 October 2007 This Interim Management Statement, for the quarter ended 31 October 2007, isprovided in accordance with Rule 4.3 of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules ofthe UK Listing Authority and also includes relevant information in respect ofthe period from 1 November 2007 to the date of issue. This Statement has beenprepared solely to provide additional information in order to meet the relevantrequirements of the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules andshould not be relied on by Shareholders, or any other party, for any otherpurpose. 1. Financial highlights • Net Asset Value ("NAV")* of 75.0p at 31 October 2007; compared to 76.6p at 31 July 2007. • Interim capital dividend of 2.0p per share paid on 16 November 2007. \* The NAV is unaudited and reflects the closing bid price of quoted securities at 31 October 2007. Unlisted companies are valued on a six-monthly basis and the NAV incorporates the Directors' valuation of unlisted investments as at 31 July 2007. 2. Investments and disposals During the quarter ended 31 October 2007, investments totalling £459,000 were made in 7 unlisted or AIM/PLUS quoted companies. During the same period, a combination of partial and complete disposals of 8 unlisted or AIM quoted investments generated aggregate proceeds of £517,000 against cost of £398,000. There were no other material transactions during the period under review. 3. Recent developments Between 31 October 2007 and the date of this statement, 9 further investments totalling £1,344,000 were made in unlisted or AIM quoted companies. During the same post quarter-end period, disposals of listed fixed income securities generated aggregate proceeds of £1,301,000 against cost of £1,301,000 and the partial disposal of an AIM quoted investment generated proceeds of £32,000 against cost of £17,000. Other than described above, Board is not aware of any material events during theperiod from 1 August 2007 to 31 October 2007, or in the period from 1 November2007 to the date of this announcement, which would have had a material impact onthe financial position of the Company.
