Aberdeen Growth VCT1 PLC18 May 2006 Aberdeen Growth VCT I PLC Declaration of Capital Dividend As indicated in the Preliminary Announcement released on 4 April 2006, theDirectors confirm that the Company has now renounced investment company status,which enables it to pay capital dividends to its Shareholders. The Board has pleasure in declaring the Company's first capital dividend, of2.00p per Ordinary share, for payment on 23 June 2006 to Shareholders on theregister at close of business on 26 May 2006. It is intended that the paymentwill be made along with the proposed final revenue dividend of 1.20p per sharein respect of the year ended 31 January 2006.
