Board changes

Morgan Sindall Group plc announces that Michael Findlay is to retire on 28 July 2025 in his ninth year as Chair of the Morgan Sindall Board. We also announce today, the appointment of Peter Harrison as a non-executive director and Chair designate with effect from 6 May 2025. Peter will assume the role of Chair of the Board and nomination committee when Michael Findlay retires.

Peter was Group CEO at Schroders plc until November 2024, and prior to that his roles included Chair and CEO of RWC Partners, global chief investment officer at Deutsche Asset Management, and head of global equities at JP Morgan Asset Management. Peter is a member of the Capital Markets Industry Taskforce, and Chair of the King's Responsible Business Network, Business in the Community.

David Lowden, Senior Independent Director who led the appointment process said:

Peter's contribution will assist the Group in pursuing our strategy, maximising the value of the business, and delivering long-term, sustainable value for all our stakeholders.

Although Michael will not be leaving until later this year, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank him on behalf of the entire Board for his valuable contribution, leadership and guidance since his appointment in October 2016. He will leave the Board with our very best wishes for the future."

Michael Findlay said:

"It has been a privilege to lead Morgan Sindall's Board during a period when we have achieved significant growth, continued balance sheet strength and a high quality order book. I look forward to working with Peter to ensure a smooth transition when he is appointed in May."
