Notification of Major Interest in Shares
Merchant Securities, the financial services group specialising in institutional and private client stockbroking, corporate finance, corporate broking and private equity, has today received notification from Tony Fabrizi of a disposal of 400,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares"). The Shares were sold on 29 May 2009 at 8 pence per share in order to satisfy market demand. Following the disposal, Tony Fabrizi owns 5,058,001 Shares representing 10.79 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
