REPURCHASE AND CANCELLATION OF SHARES
Please be advised of the following repurchase and cancellation by MOIL of its own shares held by Mandarin Oriental Overseas (PTC) Limited, the subsidiary and trustee of the Senior Executive Share Incentive Scheme of MOIL, on 31st December 2009:-
Date of repurchase: 31st December 2009
Number of shares repurchased: 30,000 ordinary shares
Price paid per share: US$0.6170
The shares being repurchased and cancelled relate to share options issued pursuant to MOIL's Senior Executive Share Incentive Scheme which have ceased to be exercisable under the terms of the relevant Trust Deed of the said Scheme. The repurchase was carried out in accordance with the terms of the relevant Trust Deed of the said Scheme as approved by the shareholders of MOIL.
