Posting of Circular and Notice of General Meeting
Further to its statement on 13 July 2016, McColl's Retail Group plc (the "Company") announces that a circular containing a Notice of General Meeting relating to the proposed acquisition of 298 convenience stores from Co-operative Group Limited (the "Circular") is being sent to shareholders today.
The General Meeting is to be held at the Company's registered office, McColl's House, Ashwells Road, Brentwood, Essex, CM15 9ST, at 2.00 p.m. on 19 September 2016.
A copy of the Circular will also be available via the National Storage Mechanism and on the Company's website at http://www.mccolls.co.uk/investor.aspx in due course.
